Ceiva 3 Digital Frame Review
These frames are great as gifts for people who do not have computers or do not know how to use a computer. You just simply plug the frame into an outlet and plug the phone cord into a phone jack an the set-up is complete. These frames do require a subscription service, but it is rather minimal for the enjoyment the gift will bring. I purchased a frame for my 89 year old grandmother, so she could see her great-granddaugther. She loves it. Unfortunately the frame has gone out twice in a year and a half. Ceiva is very good with the returns, but it is a bit of a hassle for her.
Royal Alarm Clock with Digital Picture Screen
This clock makes a great gift. The clock connects via USB to your computer and there is a crude, yet easy to use interface that allows you to load up to 59 pictures on to the clock. The image quality is decent for a 1.4 € frame. It €™s about the size of a small calculator, so if your traveling you can bring some pictures of friends and family along to keep you company.
Royal 5.6 inch Digital Frame Review
This is an economical frame with fair picture quality. The picture quality in enhance with a higher resolution picture. The frame is black with a screen size measuring 4 ½ inch X 3 1/4 inch.
Philips Digital Frame Review
The Philips frame comes with four interchangeable frame colors: white, red, silver and black. I consider these more like matting in a traditional frame. The outer frame remains a clear plastic. The picture size is the same as the traditional 4 X 6 frames I have on my desk. Philips offers this frame in a 9 € model and in each frame sizing they offer a wood frame and a milky glass frame. The clear plastic with the interchangeable frames is the most popular, so I reviewed it.
Tao 5.6 inch Digital Frame Review
Tao offers eight different frame sizes, but you don €™t have to worry about keeping the same from forever. A nice feature is the removable frame. You can mount the digital device on a 5 X 7 frame of your choice. The resolution is 320 X 234 pixels. These frames are of higher quality and cheaper price that their predecessor frames. And they can play video and MP3s.
Pacific Digital Memory Vue MV-800 Review
The frame looks more like a traditional picture frame than a digital picture frame. The frame itself is a cherry colored wood. The glass runs the length of the wood frame, and encloses a 1 inch black matte and the digital screen. The digital screen is measures 6 ¼ inches X 4 ¾ inches. This provides a nice large image. Screen resolution is 640 pixels X 800 pixels. This frame looks very classy and can fit in well in a formal setting.
A New Day
I have spent the past several months learning how to work with web pages and had always dismissed blogging as something for the younger generation-Gen Y or whatever it is that they are called (I have my own thoughts about it). Yet, I am now a convert to the ease and simplicity of blog technology. I may not have much of interest to say, but at least I have an easy way to say it.
