Ceiva 3 Digital Frame Review

These frames are great as gifts for people who do not have computers or do not know how to use a computer. You just simply plug the frame into an outlet and plug the phone cord into a phone jack an the set-up is complete. These frames do require a subscription service, but it is rather minimal for the enjoyment the gift will bring. I purchased a frame for my 89 year old grandmother, so she could see her great-granddaugther. She loves it. Unfortunately the frame has gone out twice in a year and a half. Ceiva is very good with the returns, but it is a bit of a hassle for her. I also purchased a frame for my parents and their frame went out after eight months. Ceiva fixed the frame and they haven’t had problems since.
This frame doesn’t connect to a computer and doesn’t accept memory cards, so I would not recommend this frame if that’s how you view your pictures. I would recommend this frame for those who don’t have a computer and want someone who does have a computer (and digital camera) to send them pictures. The picture quality is very good and they are simple to use.

A follow up on this review. As mentioned, I have had problems with the Ceiva 3 frames I purchased. I have been very pleased with the service I have received from Ceiva’s customer service. They were very professional and handled my returns promptly. There is a new ceiva 4 on the market now, so look for a new review in the coming months.
