Digital Picture/Photo Frames Top Seller this Holiday Season

Consider yourself lucky if you were able to purchase a digital frame as a gift and even more fortunate if you received a frame as a gift.
The Philips 7 € photo frame was ranked as the number 3 best selling item under cameras and photos on amazon.com. Many of the manufactures I spoke with reported brisk sales. Often much better than they had forecasted. Many of the frames are stocked out and will not be in until after Christmas.
Digital photo frames allow users to display digital pictures in a similar manner to traditional picture frames. However the digital frames hold many more pictures and allow slide shows, some even play video and music. These frames were introduced around the turn of the century (I know that sounds weird) and were purchased by early adopters. Unfortunately the quality and ease of use was not available. That has now changed. I ‘ve seen a great improvement in the hardware and software of these frames in the last six months. I suspect this trend to continue with mass acceptance of these products in the coming year.
